above us only sky
Janine hated to lie, but she'd left Jay a note, telling him she was going to find her mother. Instead, she found a whole new family to raise her and the baby.
Shiloh was there too. They lived with Dylan now. Not in the same room, but Shiloh was there to help with baby Nadine which he called Naddy.
She liked the name too. After all, Jay named the baby after his mother. Although, the baby wasn't his, but Shiloh.
Of course, he was clumsy with the baby but he was still and the baby was content to be in his lap.
Shiloh worked at Dylan's company in computer security. He was a genius a coding and it looked as if he was Dylan's mainstay.
Ivy's mother Lialah looked in on Janine and the baby daily. It was as if she was Dylan's mother too.
It was kind of funny to watch since Dylan might be the biggest baby of all, yet he liked having them around. His big house had been empty before they got there.
Now there were baby things and smells of food and bathrooms that needed to be kept.
Dylan was making Janine study, too. He already got her to take her GED and now she was taking college classes online.
His theory was for her and Shiloh to move forward. Divorcing Jay would come sooner or later. Although, Janine hated to still be tied to him. She needed to be ready to testify just what sort of person he was.
It was deep pain of sorrow to know what she had to do. But it felt as if it were a hill she couldn't quite climb at the moment. It was hard being a young mother and steadying herself for a better future. She wanted a good dream. Not a haunting nightmare.
