Remi didn't want anyone seeing her when the baby was born, so Wolf was sworn to secrecy. But that didn't last very long. He just couldn't do it alone. She was pretty fierce during the labor. He thought she might pull his hair out during the ordeal. After all, she wanted a natural childbirth. And no one would have shown up if it hadn't been for Remi's cousin's girlfriend Mali the nurse, who was there for the delivery.
It wasn't long until just about everyone they knew showed up at the hospital. The only relative in the pack was Harry, Remi's cousin. In spite of the fourteen hours of labor, the baby was tiny and jaundiced, but they named her Dove, anyway.
"She is not a Wren," Remi told Harry.
"She is more of a Raven to me," Harry shrugged. After all, the child's hair was thick and black with Remi's cold eyes.
"I think they'll change," Remi said the baby didn't have her eyes.
Harry definitely wasn't going to argue. Of course, Wolf took care of the baby from the get-go. Remi needed rest. Mali was right there making sure it was all proper.
And no one bothered the little family. Except, they'd brought food and extra diapers and other baby things, waiting for them at home. Naturally, Remi wanted to be left alone.
Later, Vanna mentioned Remi probably cut the baby's hair because it was a mess of dark hair, but by the time she did let everyone see the baby, all thought it wasn't the same baby.
Her hair was falling out, and blonde curls were making their debut. It was the strangest thing. Her eyes were light now. Actually, green.
"Are you sure you brought home the right baby?" Harry winced.
Remi just laughed at him. "It's the German in us," she told him.
"German?" He winced at her as if she was a crazy woman.
"Or it could be Scandinavian," Mali smiled with a shrug.
"Oh, she's our Dove," Wolf smiled. "Our sweet little Dove."
Such a sweet and tender story

ReplyDeleteUy que tiernos. Me encanto. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteSo cute :D
ReplyDeleteRemi seems psychologically unstable and why didn't she want everybody else to see her when the baby was born?
ReplyDeleteShe is a bit of a wild card. It is odd how some are. Maybe she just didn't like the idea of someone seeing her out of sorts. Maybe she didn't look as strong as she wants anyone to perceive her. It does happen. And breastfeeding was something I didn't want to have an audience for.

ReplyDeleteIt has become so rare that females give natural birth to their babies anymore now a days sadly
We see doctors recommending surgeries mostly actually I wonder why
I so enjoyed the way you described the baby particularly ❤️
Os cabelos dos bebês realmente mudam, parece incrível, mas é natural.
