Naturally, Kyle saw Ellie and Eric go right in to the show while they were waiting in line for tickets. He guessed it didn't take all that long for them to have that good of a time with each other in Ellie's room. He had his back turned. He didn't feel like speaking with them. Of course, Amanda was giving him the cold shoulder too. It was going to suck. But hey, Derrick liked him and had somehow kept him from spending an evening of watching Dylan all over Cory. Amanda looked at him and the drink.

"Want some?" He offered.

"Do you have a cold?" She looked at him straight on then. Their eyes met. Shit, he found himself slyly smiling, but she smiled back. He almost chocked.

He shook his head, no, handed over the drink. She took a sip through the straw. It would have been perfect, but she was about three inches taller than him. Maybe it was the heels, he thought, but she was in black Converses.

"Thanks." Amanda said ever so quietly. Kyle just nodded cooly.

They didn't go to the same school. Well, of course, Kyle knew that, but she kept saying he looked so familiar.

"I go to a lot of the shows," he shrugged.

"Oh. I guess- I do too." She seemed to stumble over words. He hadn't meant to make her nervous. He just smiled back. Kyle caught himself, imaging kissing her right now, open mouth kiss. He pressed his lips hard hoping he hadn't shown any thought of it. He turned around and found that he was supposed to be listening to Derrick ramble on about something he'd seen on You Tube.

Kyle just let out a breath. He knew he'd have to dump the drink before they went back in. "Here you can have the rest of it." Kyle turned back to Amanda, but he looked away before he could meet her eyes again. He so much missed kissing, and he hoped he had a chance to kiss Amanda, at least once before the night was over, but it wouldn't be easy with Derrick all chatty and possibly disgusted of the thought, if he knew how Kyle felt about Amanda.
