Had anyone noticed? Roger couldn't stop smiling. He did his best not to show it around his Dad. Damned, if he didn't need his Dad giving him the third degree now. Of course, he wasn't sure exactly how he'd discuss this with his Dad. Sex with Cory.
It was just a nightmare thinking about what he'd tell his Dad. You know, how would it go.
"Dad, I haven't just kissed a guy- I've made love to a guy." Did that sound right? He wondered. Well, it was true. It might just sex to other people, but it wasn't to him. It wasn't. It was true. And it was the wanted it to be. So there.
Honestly, he knew his Dad would be oblivious. God knows, he'd hate for his Dad to actually ask him, "Are you sure you were really ready for something like that with Cory?"
He laughed about it as he shoveled snow in his Dad's driveway.
Of course, the next second he was brining himself down from his little rooftop of joy, thinking how many times he'd lied to so many people about who he'd faked it with. Especially, that one about being with Roxie in the high school parking lot during lunch in somebody's car. Nothing happened. They'd listened to some Gorillaz tunes. Actually. And everyone thought it was the real deal. He'd been with Roxie. Now he felt so dishonest about it. He knew it didn't do him any good to think about it right. Especially, when all he really wanted was Cory. It was. It was that simple. No one else. Just Cory. Always.
He got busy shoveling snow. Pushing it out of the way, but darn if the flakes didn't start coming again. Faster even. It was hopeless. Why was he even trying? It was going to be a snow day after all.
Just then he got whacked with a snowball right in the neck. It startled Roger who winced just to look back to see it was Cory who threw the wet snowball.
Cory grinned.
"Now that was just cold!" Roger couldn't help but laugh. He got Cory good, right in the chest with a snowball.
Suddenly, winter was great, a snowball fight in full force. Roger could only think of one thing better. He was sure Cory had it on his mind too.
What will they do,han?
