"Roger, why are we doing this again?" Cory winced as Roger raced to the top of the stairs toward Eric's apartment.

"We have to see what he's up too." He was almost out of breath. His heartbeat thumping. True, this wasn't exactly where he wanted to be on Valentines day.

"No, we don't," Cory was still on the outs about this. He stood there looking up at Roger from the stairwell.

"What would we be doing right now?" Roger tensed, thinking it would probably be nothing. Cory wasn't exactly thinking Valentines day, anyway.

"Well, we were singing some Beyonce song in your bathroom." Cory reminded him.

"Yeah, that was before Ellie called." Roger shrugged and rung the doorbell.

"Yeah, and you've been freak'n me ever since. Its Valentines day." Cory winced as if it was suppose to be special.

"Night," Roger informed him. He waited. Finally, Eric let them in. He was just in his sweats and a catchup and mustard stained T-shirt.

"What have you been doing?" Roger looked around as if he were policing the place for drugs and alcohol. Maybe even Olivia. "God, you're a mess, Eric."

"I was just eating a corn dog." Eric shrugged going back to his laptop.

"What's going on?" They were in the livingroom. Roger and Cory plopped themselves down on the couch, looking at Eric tapping away at his keyboard.

"I'm writing porn, what do you think?" Eric smirked.

"Seriously?" Cory looked at him as if he were out of his mind.

Eric just smiled. "I'm always serious." He laughed, but then got serious. "I'm kidding. Look, I'm fine. I'm online with someone. It nothing stupid, all right."

"You're not going out tonight?" Roger looked at him puzzled. "What about Olivia?"

"Olivia?" He shook his head, no. "Steve would be crushed."

"No, he'd crush you," Roger nodded.

"He likes her. I know he does. He can understand every word she says." He looked sad about that. "And I can't. But we chat online and well, we have this fantasy going."

Roger made a hint that the porn might be for real after all as he gave Eric the thumbs up. Cory just nudged him.

"Its just dragons and what not, OK. Olivia is very serious about her dragons." Eric told him.

"I bet she is." Roger joked with a wink.

"Would you just tell him about Ellie?" Cory looked at Roger then.

"Oh, um, she's upset. I guess with you." Roger just looked at Eric as if that was suppose to be the news.

"With me?" Eric squinted.

"She thinks-" Roger wasn't sure what to say. "Well, I guess she thinks you're really into, you know, Olivia."

"Olivia?" Eric squinted harder.

"You know, like having sex with her and stuff." Roger said.

"Oh." Eric kind of choked. He was in tears suddenly. "So that's how she thinks of me? Just sex. Constantly with someone?"

Roger didn't say anything. He looked to Cory for help.

"Hey, why don't we order some pizza or something?"

Eric just nodded and typed in something to his keyboard. He then shut it, and Cory ordered Eric's favorite, sausage and mushroom pizza.

They ate and drank up a new diet drink that Eric's Mom had brought home, the new men's diet cola. It was just the three of them alone. Eric's Mom had a date.

"You think it'll keep us up all night?" Roger asked finishing his can off.

"God, I hope so," Eric smiled. "I'll be up all night with Olivia and that story."

"You think you might ever want to go out on a date with her?" Roger asked. "And you could text each other all night." Roger smiled.

"We're just friends." Eric shrugged.

"Yeah, they're just friends, Roger." Cory gave him the look that it was time to shut up.

"But it might grow into something else. You might even figure out what she's saying. If that Steve guy can figure it out, you can too." Roger sounded hopeful.

Eric shook his head, no.

"Well, then, we all have to go to the bathroom," Cory said quite seriously. "We need to practice on our version of that Beyonce song. We might never be as good as the cover we saw on You Tube. But it was inspirational."
