Ellie wished she had Amanda to talk to, but then it wouldn't be right. Just wouldn't be.

Anyway, Ellie was with Elliot. And granted she should just leave it alone. He didn't need to know about Eric. He didn't need to know that she'd had sex with him. It wasn't like it happened today or even last week. It was when she thought it was over with Elliot. Perhaps they weren't officially on a break when it happened, but they weren't really going out, either. Then. Of course, she hadn't told Eric she'd been with Elliot, either.

She winced. This was making her head hurt.

Ellie looked down at the shiny pale nail polish Elliot had put on her nails. She was not that girl. Not really. Did he think he was dating someone else?

Not that she wanted to pick up Mr. Emo or anything. Still this was not what she was expecting.

"I wish you'd tell me whats wrong?" Elliot's fingers pushed through Ellie's hair as they sat on his couch with the TV on. He pushed a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Its really nothing," she slightly sighed. "I- all right, I had a fight with Eric. I just thought we needed to settle some things."

"Like what? Did you give him back all his stuff?"

"Something like that," She nodded. She just couldn't be straight with him. No way was she giving Eric back everything he ever gave her. She couldn't. But then Eric hated her now so why would she want it?

"You did the right thing, you know." Elliot stared at her intently.

"Yeah, of course." She nodded and he put his arm around her, and she laid her head practically on his chest. They were close. Really close and this was it. She guessed. This was it. She closed her eyes then, thankful this was enough. It would be. She would just have to keep telling herself this was the right thing to do.

But then she kept thinking of Eric's words. She shut her eyes tight. She couldn't bare to hear those words from Elliot. She just had to get her act together. She had too.
