just add cool whip

Eric felt a bit embarrassed that he had Roger and Cory with him. He knew they had better things to do than show up with him at Olivia's house.

It felt like such a long walk up her steps to the door bell. He shivered. What was he trying to start here?

But she answered the door, and he just looked at her trying not to smile too much.

"So did you bring cheese cake?" She asked.

"No." He laughed.

She just bit her bottom lip, and he took her hand and followed him out to Cory's car.

"Roger made something with raspberries." Eric told her once they sat in the back seat next to each other.

"Will there be cool whip?" She looked at him.

"Roger, did you forget cool whip?" Eric then asked.

"Cool whip?" Roger was in the front seat with Cory. "Of course not."

Olivia smiled then. "I like everything better with cool whip. Even pancakes."

"As long as its not on tacos." Eric nodded. He looked down to see he hadn't let go of her hand yet.
"It might really be good on tacos, " she told him.

He just smiled.

"Just don't make me try it." He couldn't help but laugh. He just didn't want to ruin this, but he couldn't tell Ellie he was sorry, either. He had to leave that alone. Things could be so hot or so cold. That was one thing cool whip couldn't help.

  1. Hi Ellie!
Oh, that's so nice of Roger to have made something with raspberries... sounds delicious. I like cool whip too, but probably not on Tacos, haha....
Ellie, I'd love to keep "talking" to you, even though I don't have a blog anymore... If you feel the need to comment on my comments (haha) maybe you'd do that here in the comment box? Best,
    Cate
