Eric was getting a little ancey, perhaps. Could that be a word. He was a little nervous. The idea that Ellie might be there at Prom, but she wasn't, was she?

"You know Roger and Cory, already. I don't know if you've met Kyle. You met his girlfriend." Eric was running down the list of people he thought Olivia might know. He didn't want this to be overwhelming to her.

She signed just then that they had this. Signing. He smiled then with his arm around her. She looked just as lovely, before. Although, he thought she'd changed the dress up just a little. The bow was now at the front instead of the back of the dress. Had she wore it backwards? He gave her the look over, wondering what was different.

You always amaze me, Eric signed back. They went in to the dance then at the railroad museum. It was rather historical with the huge chandeliers.

He supposed they were early, but they went and danced as if they wouldn't sit this thing out. Besides, Olivia was fun to dance with. She made it so easy to enjoy. There was nothing trying about it. Really, he was quite comfortable with Olivia. It was going to be a good night. Eric could feel it. Or so it felt so cozy until he saw Ellie across the room.

Her hair was down and she was in gold, and it pained him to see her so beautiful. Of course, she could have been in a potato sack, and he would have thought she was beautiful. She always would be.

Had she came alone? He winced. It couldn't be right.

"Nothing." He told her. He'd felt so warm and sweet with Olivia and now it had turned so cold and bitter. "Maybe we should get some punch." She nodded and Eric swam through the crowd. Perhaps Ellie wouldn't even notice them.
