Roger knew there should be more and well, he wasn't going to keep it from her. She'd find out. Really, Olivia would if she wanted to know what he kept in his underwear drawer.

He pulled open the drawer and hidden under all the multi-colored briefs was the pipe and along with the pipe was his little baggy of weed which he hadn't gotten in to since he left home. Really, he didn't know why he kept it nor why he hadn't smoked it all up. Perhaps he hadn't been happy enough nor depressed enough. Roger couldn't be sure.

"Its not like I do it all the time," He let her see the pipe with its skullhead.

"Where did you get it?" She examined it like it might be art. He'd never thought of that.

"Off the Internet." He couldn't exactly remember now.

She handed it back to him.

"You ever do this-this with Eric?" She looked at him as if she was thinking it was sex.

"No." He winced. "Used to with Kyle, but that was like a way long time ago. And Ryan, who's a stupid shit. No, mainly just me."

"Oh." She wasn't judgemental about it.

"Do you wanna try it?"

"I dunno." She seemed calm about it. Like she didn't hate the idea.

"Its not that big of a deal," he shrugged.

"OK." She shrugged back.

"Really?" He couldn't believe it, thinking what if they did this every afternoon when he came home from work? Did he want to? Really? "I mean, you know, I love you just the way you are and all. I don't want to change that."

"You love me?" Olivia smiled as if she'd been waiting for someone to say that all her life.

"Yeah, I do. I love the way you are. The way you do things. The way you talk to me." He took the pipe from her and put it on the desk. His hands came around her face, and he looked into her eyes. "I don't think we need any pot-"

She kissed him then, and it was addictive. And he knew then something might grow from this if it were not tainted, and he definitely wasn't going to chance it.
