Olivia wasn't really thrilled with the idea of going to a mid-night after party. First there was the play to get through.
"I swear, it'll feel like you're here for 4 hours, maybe 6." She whispered to Nick who was sitting by her in the theater with a tub of popcorn and a huge drink. She had bottled water. It seemed lately, everytime she turned around she had a urinary tract infection. She laid off sodas and stuck to water and cranberry juice.
"How many times have you seen this?" Nick asked.
"This is my seventh time."
"That's true devotion."
"He is funny." She smiled.
"Yeah, he's funny just walking across the lunchroom." Nick grinned.
"How are you doing? Are you OK with the move and well, everything with Kelsey? Do you still talk to her?" Olivia wondered.
"No." He shook his head.
"Eric used to e-mail me in the beginning, like I was his little sister, I guess. He even said he wished I was his sister." Olivia told him.
"Really?" Nick looked at her then.
"Yeah, kind of pathetic, huh?"
"Well, maybe he just doesn't want to forget you, completely." Nick told her.
Olivia never thought of that. But it was a dreadful thought to hear from someone you loved for so long that she was just a little sister to him now.
"Still doesn't mean you want to hear stuff like that. Remember that when you think you might say something like that to Kelsey." Olivia told him.
"I'm not going to be hearing from Kelsey." Nick shook his head. Just then the curtain came up and the show was about to start.
Olivia sighed. They wouldn't be seeing Roger until the second act.
