love stinks

"I dunno." Roger shook his head. How could it have come to this? Ravi and Olivia, right under his nose. "I-I can't trust you. Not anymore."

Olivia's anguish glare on her face didn't look much better than Roger's.

"Why? Why are you doing this?" Roger cringed. They were in their room. He guessed. He wasn't sure. She had her arms crossed, and she wouldn't say anything for the longest time.

"I'm not doing anything with him!" She barely got out in a huff.

"So you say." Roger sighed looking up at the ceiling. "You make everything complicated."

"I do not!" She shot back and literally gave him a shove in the chest.

"You were never like this when we were friends!" He wouldn't back down.

Her face swelled in a frown.

Roger frowned too and sat down on the bed.

"What do you want me to do?" She looked at him then.

"I dunno." Roger scowled. "I don't like this anymore than you do. You used to tell me everything. Now you tell Ravi everything. Are? Are you sure you haven't-"

"No." She scowled. "I'm just tired of being sick. And I-I guess, it wasn't meant to be, you and me." She sucked in a breath.

"It is meant to be. You and me." He glared at her. "We are going to make this work..or..or. FINE I"LL GO TO THE DAMN DOCTOR!"

She sat down next to him and began to cry. He put his arm around her shoulder. Soon enough she was crying on his shoulder. Just like it should be.
