it can't be the end of them

This was not at all what Kayla was expecting once Oliver got here. They were suppose to be together. As it was, she was in one town and he was an hour away.

"How did this happen?" She knew it was all his family's fault. She was on her cell with him, like she was every night.

"It-it just didn't seem right when you know, your family was there at the airport and mine was there too. I guess-I-I didn't have a choice in the matter." Now he had gotten a job at some restaurant as a line cook. She would never see him.

"You are suppose to be with me." She told him point blank.

"I want that. I do, but you know, we need some time to really get to know each other before we...take the plunge." He might have sounded cute, but it wasn't to Kayla.

"The plunge?" She did not like that word. "I thought we would be happy. Together."

"We will. You just have to have some faith. Hope. Something." He told her Eric was going to teach him to drive. "That has to be a good start, doesn't it?"

"I guess." But he was coming over this weekend, and they'd spend the whole weekend together.

"Only I work Friday night." He told her. At least she'd have him Saturday, all to herself.

  1. Some people can be really controlled by others... in a bad way unfortunately...

  2. It's sad when people can't think for themselves. :/

  4. I don't think they should rush into this. It might be a mistake.

  5. Well, she has to be patience. I'm glad he got a job. That has to be a good sign.
