Amanda knew Elliot remembered. She knew he did even if he said he didn't. She could sense it, by the way he avoided her.
She should have expected as much. Deep down, she knew it was over, but she was still here. So was he. It was a horrible feeling, but she knew he was hurt, and she hadn't a clue what to look forward too. If anything.
She had to remember that she was thankful he was alive. And they still had a house even though she wasn't sure it was a home.
"What are you going to do?" Kyle asked. She hadn't even left the hospital yet.
"I dunno." She was making herself sick. She probably had a sinus infection and her left ear hurt too. "Maybe Rosie should just stay with you from now on." She nodded.
"Are you sure? She loves her room. She says Roger's room is just for babies." Kyle put his arm around Amanda.
"God, this is so hard." Her nose dripped and she couldn't tell if it were just tears are a drippy nose. Her throat was raw. "I've got Derrick there. We'll be fine." Nothing had to change, did it? Nothing was going to change? Was it?
they are breaking up???? ahhh I've missed so much while I was away :) Happy New Year!
