like the first time I saw your face

Olivia was doing her best not to cause a scene. She hoped Ryan didn't think she hated her, but then what if Ryan didn't like her?

She went on to get the dishes done even if Leon offered. She just wanted them to go and have some fun, or whatever. She could deal with the dishes.

"What are you upset about?" Ravi wasn't going to let her do the dishes alone.

Olivia didn't want to talk about it. "You wouldn't understand." She shook her head, no and scraped the leftovers from the dishes in the trash.

"Is it Ryan? Did something happen?" Ravi winced hard.

"No." She looked at him with a gritted glare. "That's the point, I know she doesn't like me."

"Well, maybe..you aren't talking to her. I mean, him." Ravi shrugged as he rinsed the dishes and put them in the dishwasher.

"I have." Olivia slightly huffed. "I've tried." She hugged herself and watched him do the work. "Look, I know, everyone's not going to like me. I get that. Its just..I dunno what to do."

"We aren't going to be here that long, anyway. Besides, I don't really think Ryan cares about anybody but herself or Roger." He told her.

Olivia nodded. "I talked to Amber today." She almost smiled.

"How's she doing?" Ravi smiled as if he were glad she'd heard from her.

"Great. She's getting married." Olivia sighed.

"What?" Ravi winced then, shaking his head. "When? How?"

"Some guy she met, her first day on campus." Olivia exposed a miserable frown.

"It sounds like a disaster to me." Ravi shook his head.

"God, I'm beginning to think you don't want to get married at all." Olivia fretted.

Ravi smiled at her. She stared at him. He was laughing at her. Finally, he kissed her forehead. "You know, I want to. And we are. We find our own place, that's the first step."

She looked up at him, wondering if they'd still be together if they were married, already. Would it be the best thing ever, or would it fall apart? He kissed her... just like she remembered the first time. She didn't want this to ever go away. But things were changing. They needed a change. And she knew now they had to leave this place behind.

  1. In order to preserve their relationship they really need to move on. I hope they can find a place. :/
