at the river's edge

Leon was thinking how lovely Tyra looked with daisies in her hair even if they might have been fake. Anyway, it was done. They were married. Their characters were married, but deep down, it felt like they were. He could think it. He just couldn't help it. That silly grin just wouldn't go away.

Then suddenly, he heard someone yelling, and he was the first to the water, after Roger. This was not part of the show. But there he went. Nothing was going to stop him. He pulled the girl from the car deep in the water. He smashed the driver's side window with his boyscout knife. And like a good boyscout he was to the rescue, pulling the limp girl to safety. Immediately, he felt he was on autopilot, seeking what signs of life might be left. Before he knew it, his CPR kicked in. And then she coughed the water up and breathed.

He looked up to see the medics coming. Really though, all that mattered was that the girl was breathing. He looked around for Roger. What had happened to Roger?

The medics took over. Leon looked for Tyra. Suddenly, he was afraid Tyra went in after him. Suddenly, a new nervousness took over him as his heart started to pound. Next thing he knew, Ryan was coming to shore with Roger.

He was a bit baffled, thinking how much more crazy could this get. He saw that Ryan was struggling with Roger so he went to help. Tyra came soon after to help.
