not like it used to be
Kyle was not in a good mood when Derrick strolled in. Before Asa could say anything, Kyle pushed Derrick down to his room. He closed the door behind him.
"What! Is going with you!" Kyle glared at him. "I saw you picking a fight with Ian. And then you leave as soon as you do slug someone. You didn't even wait to see if Henry was OK! You, hit Henry!" Even he knew Henry didn't deserve that.
Derrick only fumed as if he didn't have anything to say. "OK! I was mad! You'd be furious with Ian, too. He's having sex with Josie." Derrick reasoned. Kyle shook his head. He got that he was mad, but he knew Derrick didn't need to lose it like that with Ian.
"You're still the same, aren't you?" Kyle kept glaring at him. "You're always right. Everyone else is wrong. And you go on..and do as you damn, please."
"What's that suppose to mean?" Derrick scoffed as if Kyle knew..something.
"You were always a spoiled brat. Amanda, always let you do, what you wanted. You always got your way. Its like, you, had no feelings..for anyone." Kyle said, eye-balling Derrick.
Derrick scowled then as if that wasn't true.
"I thought you were my friend." Derrick looked at him hurt. "How would you feel if somebody was having-" He didn't finish his sentence. "I'm mad at Ian. I guess." He sighed then as he hugged himself. "I'm mad at me. All right. And I know, I shouldn't have ran out like that. Its just..its just I needed some time to think."
"That's all there was to it?" Kyle kept questioning him.
"Its complicated." Derrick would no longer look him in the eye.
"I know its complicated. It'll get more complicated, but getting in a fight, isn't helping. You know, that? Don't you?" Kyle told him.
