its not like that
Olivia didn't mean to forget about Ryan. Honestly, it was just good fun with this guy Luc. Actually, she kept thinking of Ravi the whole time she was dancing with him. That had to count for something.
"He's gay, anyway." Olivia wasn't sure she believed it, but he was with his roommate. Maybe, Luc didn't want to admit it. But she couldn't possibly think Luc was making Dorian jealous.
"I guess." Ryan drove Olivia home since Olivia was the one who drank the alcohol. "You, you can't just leave me, like that."
"I know. I wasn't." Olivia's eyes lit, thinking Ryan was too touchy about the two of them going out together. "I'm sorry. Really." Olivia nursed her bottom lip. "I don't want to do an Amber on you." She couldn't help but say. Amber was her worst friend. Maybe they weren't even friends anymore. She knew she'd always been a better friend to Amber. "Next time we go. I promise I won't leave your side."
"The next time?" Ryan winced as if there would be no next time.
"We'll just go to a movie." Olivia would make this up to her, somehow.
Ryan drove on in silence and dropped her off at her place. Olivia looked a the time on her cell. She looked at her contacts. There was Luc's phone number. Thank God, he hadn't put a picture in of himself. She felt a little sad. She should delete him. Forget she ever met him. There would not be a next time. But he was sweet and so sincere. She liked the way his long shock of hair fell into his eyes and his sly lips.
Yes, he was sexy. She cringed at that thought. He was the kind of sexy who didn't even know he was sexy which made him even more sexy. But she did have Ravi. She didn't look at other guys. Olivia bit her upper lip.
Did she really want to delete Luc's phone number? She sighed. Maybe she'd delete it tomorrow.
