Just a moment

Olivia hugged herself, knowing it could be worse. So much worse. Why did she open her mouth about any of this to Ellie?

Suddenly, she felt as if it were a flashback of some sort, and she was the odd girl out. There was no reason for it. Hadn't she learned anything about herself?

Seriously, she loved Ravi. But had she proved it?

She went to the bathroom, looked in the cabinet and found the birth control pills. She tore them from the plastic and dumped them down the sink. It was time to make a change. It was time to grow up. She guessed.

A part of her didn't feel strong at all. But it was the right thing to do. Her friends were with families now. And...

She flushed the toilet and set down on the lid. Tears came. She didn't know why. She felt for sure she'd give Ravi a child that was not perfect. That was why it hadn't happen. She choked on more tears, wondering what to do.

She knew he love her. And didn't she love herself too? She wasn't so sure, anymore.

Of course, she hid it well. Always had. She guessed. She tried. Ravi was always there for her. He was her best friend.

Why couldn't things stay as they were? Hadn't they? Wouldn't they? Questions were filling up her head as she choked on tears.

She made it out of the bathroom and found her cell. Just then she heard sirens. But weren't there always sirens in the city. She was used to them now, having a flat in the old market.

Finally, her throat cleared. She punched in Finn's number. She couldn't remember Doyle's. She hadn't talked to either of them in ages.

"What are you doing?" She said first thing. Of course, Ravi was working late. He worked after dark, a lot lately.

"We, are at a wedding." He told her about Willow and Jules' wedding.

It startled Olivia at first. It was really getting late, after 9 p.m. now. She should eat something. Only she hadn't felt like it. Luc was on her mind. Trying to decide, if he were nothing more than a coincident now. Really, she'd made more out of him than there really was. She knew it. She just wanted to stop thinking..

Of course, she half listened to Finn. Just then another call came in.

Olivia sighed. Finally, Ravi must be on his way home.

  1. Olivia doesn't need to follow her friends; she needs to follow what's right for her. :/
