You look well on me

Hayley could see Jonah was none to pleased to have Fiona there for the send off at the airport, but Gilly looked so happy. Fiona really brought out a certain smile in him. Of course, no one might notice it. Probably, not Jonah. After all, he was not in a good mood.

Luckily, her mum got bumped up to first class. That didn't sit too well with Jonah, either.

"You are nutzo, aren't you?" Hayley had a laugh.

"Who said that?' Jonah looked at her a bit mad, but she looped her arm around his soon enough, as if he was going to keep his cool.

"I did." She slyly smirked. What was it about him that gave her the impulse to want to get a rush out of him? "Gilly, always has nice things to say about you."

He kept staring at her as if she needed to stop.

"Do you know how old I am?" Suddenly, age was a big deal. Jonah waited for her to answer his question.

"You, aren't that much older than me." She didn't let go of him. But as the air travel settled more. She got out her iPod. She had a playlist of Jules favorite songs. She was sure it would be screamo music. Perhaps, he was just being kind. Instead, the playlist were tunes he'd remembered growing up with their mum of Bannarama and Fun Boy Three. She offered Jonah an earbud so he could listen.

It was true, Jonah was a good five years older or so than her, but honestly, he looked all of 15 from where she was sitting. She leaned back and relaxed. It was calm now. It was good to watch Jonah's many moods. He closed his eyes. Hayley sighed. She decided to get some rest too as she listened to the happy tunes that Jules sent her.

Her phone buzzed after the fifth duration of the playlist. She reached for it, thinking it was probably mum asking how they were doing, or her Dad who was still a little nervous about the journey. But it was a message from Gilly.

Guess what? I'm getting married!

Hayley blinked. She had to make sure it was a text from Gilly, and they didn't miss the whole wedding at Willow's. Hayley couldn't help but laugh all over. But she had to be quiet. This might not be the best news to tell Jonah.
