its a different situation for your information
He did his best to get Dorian alone, but he wouldn't have anything to do with Ruben. He didn't understand. It was so different from before.
When he was here back in September.....
Dorian hung on to every word Ruben said. He could see it in his demeanor. Dorian couldn't get enough of him. It was something that made Ruben laugh inside. It was the kind of good he'd never came to expect in anyone since.
It just wasn't right in Vancouver. So many self-absorbed actors. Possibly a lot like himself. All thinking they were more special than the other. There was no love lost there. Besides, he'd came back for what he'd missed. He'd missed Dorian so much. Couldn't he see that?
He'd roughed it the last few days, sleeping on that horrible couch, hoping to get Dorian alone. That's all they needed. Some time, alone.
But when he tried to talk, Dorian would walk away. Scowl at him, like Ruben was bad news. While all along, Ruben was certain of it, he was the best that Dorian ever had. Now, it set in that it might be the other way around.
He wasn't going to let this go.
Finally, he took his chance with Eli while Dorian was in the kitchen warming up some left overs.
"He hasn't told you? Has he?" Ruben couldn't help but grin about it, as he watched Dorian's so called boyfriend sip on a soda.
Ruben's grin was open.
"We used to be together." Ruben bit his bottom lip, shaking inside with laughter. "Such fun, you know. Fantastic fun." He added with a sigh of relief.
Dorian caught the very end of what Ruben was saying. His brow furrowed.
"Come on, don't deny it, now. Its true." Ruben milked it for all it was worth. Did they both need details? He could give details. "He's an animal, you know. Don't let Dorian play coy with you." Ruben's smile broaden across his face as if he could mess with Eli all he wanted. He was in for the kill, figurative speaking. Yes, he might make Dorian squirm a bit, but it he'd come back to him. Especially, if that boy would have nothing to do with Dorian now.
"What are you talking about?" Dorian winced as if he had a very bad taste in his mouth, or was either playing dumb. "I didn't sleep with him, Eli." He looked at his tender faced boyfriend who looked a bit like a doe in the headlights, who only wanted to nurse his drink.
"There was definitely no sleep involved." Ruben chuckled. "Do you know what fun he is? When he lets himself?" Ruben glared at Eli who was still not talking. He wasn't taking up for Dorian
"Its a lie." Dorian's voice raised. "Its all lies!"
Unfortunately, a baby began to cry upstairs.
"Dorian, you know its true! You know, you wanted me." Ruben shrugged as if who was the happy camper now.
Dorian shook his head. Perhaps he was trembling. Eli was leaving. So was the girl with the baby, along with her friends.
"It looks like we're alone now." Ruben couldn't help but grin. He liked it when things went his way.
