Sister to Sister

sister to sister

How many times would she have to defend him? Julie was ready to run through the flat, screeching like a banjie  when she got wind of what was on her sister's mind about Crosby.

"Well, it was only the truth." Kera stood her ground in the kitchen. They might have a food fight yet. Although, that would not do anything to the harsh fact that Crosby needed a job.

"Why can't, you be supportive?" Julie hugged herself in her flimsy night gown that was much shorter than she thought. Actually, it was just one of Crosby's old Tees. "We're in love."

"Right." Kera looked doubtful as she blew a breath an pulled her own clothes out of the laundry basket. She folded the fabric neatly as if she'd once worked for some high end department store. She was after all in customer service down at the mall. "I remember that time you brought home that rocker from ..god knows where."

"We were just friends." She fluttered her lashes. It was nothing with Jordy. He was hungover, and he was a bit too mellow for her.

"I don't care if he's a friend or a lover, he needs a job." Kera's voice carried.

"Uh, can't you be supportive?" Julie squinted hard. Was her sister even listening?

"Why do you even care?" Kera just didn't get it.

"I think I'm in love." Julie smiled ever so pleasant. She doubted her sister knew what that even felt like.

  1. Definitely sisters. I'm not sure how I feel about her older sister.
