its a journey

its a journey

Jax was a laugh. It would be too much for Dustin. Honestly, he couldn't take the bloke seriously, but this was serious between Jax and Archie, or so Dustin was beginning to believe. Jax couldn't shut up about him.

So many times, Dustin wanted to ask if Jax was in love with his roommate, but he just couldn't.

Besides, Dusty felt so lost the moment he left Halie standing in the driveway. Something was off. He knew. But he couldn't think it would be himself. Not now.

She'd never told him when her due date would be. Actually, she never talked about the baby. He wished she would. He would have listened. But he could see, she wasn't one who was full of trust. Someone had broken her. He supposed and now he felt as if something was missing.

They drove into the pub parking lot.

"What are we doing here, mate?" Jax was still grins. Happy to get away from this old railway village.

"I forgot something." He needed to get something at the pub.

"You, think they have any Shepard's pie yet?" Jax said Archie really liked them with the onion gravy.

Dustin only smiled. Yes, it had to be true about Jax and Arch, even if they didn't know it. He could see this relationship lasting.

"Dunno, why don't you see?" He went on in.

"Dusty!" Jama was on the phone. "What are you doing here? I thought you would be with Halie."

"I just left her." Dustin winced.

"Well, she's having the baby." Jama shot him a look that he best get to her.

"Can I use your scooter, then?" He didn't care if it were pink. Jama nodded. He gave his keys to Jax to drive on.

Dustin smiled then. He was off to see Halie.
