It was an accident that Irma spotted Jess when she did. Actually, she was out with Jung, and Irma introduced Jess to her boyfriend at the mall.
Jess kept to the facts. She was in nursing school. Of course, she acted like she didn't have a thing to say to Irma. Naturally, no apologies.
"Did..did you ever..get back with Slater?" Irma wanted to know. As it was she hadn't a clue what was going on with her cousin.
Of course, Jung only nibbled on a fry in the food court and looked away as if he wouldn't dare interrupt them.
Irma asked her to sit and told her, how great Jess looked and she hoped things were going well with nursing school.
Jess only nodded and said she was working hard. She expected to be top of the class. Finally she mentioned she didn't know where Slater was.
Irma thought Jess looked awful sad, but she said she was fine. Everything was fine.
Jung smiled after Irma's cousin left. He shook his head.
"Why did you tell her I was your boyfriend?" He signed.
Irma rolled her eyes and signed back that it was a very long story. Naturally, Jung said he was up for very long stories.
Irma only sighed and told him about how Jess thought she'd taken her boyfriend away from her. She acted out how Jess thought Irma was pretty with long hair and quite the flirt. Jung only laughed. He then signed Irma was in the wrong major. She should be in drama.
"Now why would I do that?" Irma tilted her head with a smile. "After all, I couldn't spend my time like this..with my boyfriend."
She took his hand. It was good to face the fact that she didn't want to be with anyone else, but Jung.
