one of those days

one of those days

"Well..shoot." Rowdy didn't know what else to say. He'd get Irma in the car right away. He winced, thinking the baby wasn't due yet.

"Isn't it a little early?" Rowdy looked at his watch out of habit. He guessed it didn't really matter what time the baby came, but he thought it was a few weeks from now. But then again, half the time the weeks only felt like weekends to him.

"It doesn't matter." Jojo informed him as she got Irma ready to go. "Her water broke."

Irma looked as if her back might be breaking. He helped her to his four wheel drive.

"You're coming we me, right?" He looked back at JoJo, as to not to leave him alone with a pregnant teen.

"It really is a mess upstairs." She told him the bathroom needed to be mopped.

"Don't worry about it." He guessed Bree wouldn't dare do it. Maybe she could get her boyfriend to do it. She was always bossing him around. "Just get in the car."

He texted Bree as fast as he could. She was still in school. However, his fingers were big, and the words were all wrong, so he talked into his phone and the text came out, almost right.

Rowdy didn't have time to waste.

"And Jung will meet us there." JoJo told him as Rowdy started up the vehicle. They were on their way soon enough.

Oh, he wanted to be extra careful. He wanted to get Irma to the hospital in one piece. It wasn't long until they were at stoplight. He heard Irma's cries of despair. Rowdy blew a breath. He didn't know if he could get there fast enough.

For a moment, he thought he might be having a heart attack. He was so out of breath. Just what he needed. To go to the hospital too.
