Cal should have known it wouldn't be easy to sweep someone off their feet, who could tower over him. Still, he wanted to talk to Ellis.
"Are you mad at me?" He wanted to know. Cal found himself looking up at Ellis' sour face.
"No, not at all." But Callum didn't quite believe him.
"Look..about..Kia...we aren't getting back together." Cal assured him.
"Is that any of my business?" Ellis winced hard.
They were back in the corner, away from the maddening crowd, but someone came to find him, the little dufus that Ellis brought. He brought over a plate of goodies.
"You, should try this." He said to Ellis. Oh, he was a coy enough. Was he just trying to be adorable, or what? He popped a little tomato into Ellis' mouth.
"Who are you?" Cal snapped.
That face. He was rude yet sincere, with a calm smile and all. Cal wanted to slap him silly. Someone was doing their best to keep Ellis away from him.
"El didn't tell you?" There he went as if he knew all the personal stuff between them. But if it had been something, then this arse wouldn't be here in the first place.
"Yeah, El and I go..how far back?" He looked to Ellis to help him out, but Ellis was being very straight lipped.
"I'm Geo." Immediately, he shook Cal's hand.
