Gabby knew what she saw. Even in a crowded hallway at school.
Will found what he wanted... with Ivy.
She thought her heart might crash and somebody might have to resuscitate her. But no, she was physically fine, even if she wanted to be sick(seeing her ex with her almost best friend). Gabby walked away, almost zombie like.
She ended up at Macy and Draco's since she didn't know where else to go.
"It was only a fight." Macy told her not to be such a drama queen. "You, don't even like Will."
Gabby's eyes lit. How could Macy make that assumption?
Will was..still..breath taking. She couldn't forget the physical attraction. Of course, he was good at changing the natural course of Gabby's nature. He wasn't all touchy feely. He was down right cold, sometimes. But he'd been a friend and as much as she wanted to hate him, she couldn't.
Macy brought her some herbal tea to relief the tension in Gabby's forehead. It tasted like water to her. Gabby made a face. Macy didn't even put sugar in it.
"Look, you're gonna be fine. It'll all work out. Forget about Will," Macy said she should worry about her studies. There was the University to think about. What did she want to major in?
Gabby almost laughed, but Macy was being serious.
"I want you to do well. I want you to stop thinking you..you need a boyfriend." Macy was serious. "It'll only be trouble with Mom, if you keep this up. You, need to be on her good side."
Gabby looked over at the baby who was kicking happily on his blanket while Irish nursery music played very low in the livingroom. Macy was busy cleaning the kitchen, as if she was expecting company.
"Are you having a party, or something?" Gabby then asked.
"No, I'm just waiting for Ste to get here." Macy slightly sighed as if she was a little nervous.
"Ste? Who's he?"" Gabby winced.
Gabby looked back at the baby. She guessed she'd forgot about his uncle was coming from England. She took another sip of the warm tea. Gabby guessed she could wait this out and meet this Ste.
