its like this

it's like this

"Why didn't you go to homecoming?" Xander hadn't asked that night, but he did the following day while he was out shopping for school stuff with Sunny.

"I don't have any money." Sunny shrugged.

"You, should have some." Xander reminded him that he'd babysat plenty with Dakota.

"I have Christmas to think about." Sunny was low-key. "Besides, those dances aren't all that fun." He sounded like it would be pressure, since he didn't even dance.

"You, could have gone with some friends." Xander said they wouldn't have cared if he danced or not.

"Its OK." Sunny shrugged. "I would have seen Rosie there, with that guy in the band."

"Rosie?" Xander looked puzzled. Had he been missing something?

"Its fine." Sunny went on to find the mechanical pencils he needed and the copy paper.

Xander guessed he'd forgotten about her. He didn't know Sunny even liked her.

"I don't think she likes guys like me, anyway," Sunny then said with a straight lip while he studied the back of a box of an ink printer cartridge.

"What's that suppose to mean?" Xander winced. Was he talking about who he was or where he came from?

"Its nothing." Sunny looked at another cartridge. This time, he found the right number. "To tell you the truth, she made me feel... a little nervous."

Xander slightly smiled as if he understood.

"You, never know..who you might meet." He thought of Dakota spending the day with Liv. Now that was someone he never expected to be with Joey.
