you don't know anything
Holly wanted to laugh at Natalie. She couldn't believe Joon had carried her out of the apartment and taken her to the emergency room, over a backache.
"What would you know about pain?" After all, this was the third time Holly had been to the hospital with her pregnancy. She was having lots of false labor lately and it was painstaking.
"It hurts. I hurt my back." Natalie winced. She was on painkillers and laid up in the hospital bed as if she'd been in some wrenching accident.
"Try having contractions?" Holly was even lipped about it. She told Holly she better not think about having a baby anytime soon if she was having such a hard time with her back. Holly couldn't think her friend being in bad help. "You need to exercise more," Holly said it would help. "You gotta keep moving." Which is what Holly was doing now. She needed to stay strong.
Natalie only winced as if Holly had lost it.
Suddenly, a hard pain came from her lower back pushing up her spine as if she just might throw up this baby. A gush of water thrust from her. Holly knew she should feel embarrassed, but she only smiled. Finally, the baby was coming.
