Ivy honestly wanted this to be the beginning of a real relationship with Will, but she knew him, too well. She knew it would be impossible for the two of them to be like other couples.
"You, don't know that for sure." Gabby said things were different this time with Will. "All I can see..is that..he wants you." She put it bluntly, as she looked at handmade trinkets and the like at the little shop not so far from the bakery where Gabby's boyfriend worked.
Ivy felt slightly dizzy. Never in a million years did she think she would be Christmas shopping with Will's ex and discussing their romance with Gabby.
"Just let it happen." was Gabby's advice. Of course, she was in deep with Ste.
Ivy looked at Gabby from the corner of her. She wished she could think like Gabby. She winced. No, she wouldn't. This was Will they were talking about. She would be patience. She would be kind. She would love every minute they spent together. She didn't have to sleep with him. Although, she was pretty sure if they slept together..it would definitely mean.. honest to God... SLEEP.
"Try not to worry." Gabby pursed her lips as if she knew all, as the Goddess of Love. "You, have protection, don't you?"
Ivy staggered back almost falling into a Native American headdress. Her eyes lit.
Gabby almost laughed at her.
"How about we drop by the drugstore when we leave here." Gabby sighed.
Ivy tried to grit a smile. Still, she felt a little faint. This upgrade Gabby spoke of, frightened her a little. As much as Gabby said to let it happen. It felt as if making it happen was the real thing she was saying.
