Ollie was a bit on edge these days. Especially, since the Candy moment.
Yes, he still lingered for an Ivy sighting, but not nearly as much. Of course, he worried how he'd actually react if he saw Ivy. Now it was..what if he did see Candace, again.
It was a bit of a random thing, he now thought about... the so called Christmas party. When Candy went to sleep on him, he let her sleep on his shoulder until he couldn't take another minute. Slowly, he'd found her a spot on an empty couch in the corner of the spacious livingroom. But as soon as her head hit the cushion she awoke, looking at him wild eyed.
He'd wondered then if..if he'd been too close. She scatted out of their like a scary kitten.
Ollie stood in the entrance of the grocery store where he worked waiting to pick up carts in the winter cold parking lot, wondering if it had been him imagination. He sucked in a breath now and shoved his hands deeper in his thick hoodie.
Oh, how he wished that other part had been his imagination, but he walked in on Kramer who'd bedded down probably with the most epic woman there.
Ollie made a face of disgust. Yes, Kramer really was something. Of course, he didn't say a word to Kramer, then or now. These days, Kramer was is in and entire different universe. He was with Dara now. Thankfully, Kramer had not asked him to go to another party. Ollie was sure of it, he would be spending most of Christmas here. Perhaps it was out of devotion of having a new job or just staying numb, trying not to think how everyone was having fun, but him.
He'd decided he wouldn't even look for Candy. It was best not to get his hopes up, but who was coming toward him?
He couldn't help but smile. Although, Candy walked right past him, as if she didn't even see him.
