Liam knew he could be sitting at home about now getting harassed by Bom. Still, he knew he needed this job if he was ever going to have a Christmas with Lizzie.
Soon enough at the department store, he met Diago who was to teach him how to fold clothes properly. Liam watched ever so seriously. Diago only chuckled and tossed the shirt to him to fold.
"You'll get used to it. We do it, over and over. People get restless this time of year in retail." Diago told him the hours would be long and quite boring.
Of course, their assistant manager told him a different story entirely. After all, she was the loyal one. Her name was Char and she started bickering with Diago about how he was supposed to be more professional with the new employees. Diago rolled his eyes and gave her a smirk.
"Um, are you two related?" Liam winced thinking he didn't want to be a part of this team.
Char only smiled with a shrug as if he'd just have to figure it out, all on his own. A lot like how to fold a shirt a customer couldn't resist to unfold.
