I got your Christmas right here

There was so much to be thankful for this Christmas. Omaha was grateful to be married now. They had good friend, in spite of Taylor moving to Iowa. They still kept in touch even if it were via facetime. They knew what was going on in each other's lives.

"I got some news for you," Omaha grinned, as he was on screen with Taylor.

"Oh, could it be, you got a raise?" Taylor smiled back.

"Its better than that," Omaha assured him. Just as he was about to tell Taylor the news, Sheena cut in with the picture from the sonogram. "Look what we're having!"

"Are you kidding me!" Taylor laughed.

They told him the baby boy was due in August. Yes, this was possibly Omaha's favorite Christmas, after all.

"Don't you ever do this to me, again," Brian let into Ivy, about her moving in with Simon. "You are my only family."

She'd never thought about it that way. Brian never liked his father and his mother had always been quite random. It hadn't occurred to her until now that she was all he had and of course their family in the making.

He hugged her tight, cried in the crook of her neck. She wanted to make this better for him. But didn't he see how stifling it was for her to be at her mother's?

"But we need her and much as..as she needs us." He wanted her to know that they couldn't make this such an issue with her. "We are family." He wanted her to be a grandmother, too. They couldn't ignore her.

Ivy knew she still had a lot of growing up to do before the baby arrived.

"I-I don't think I can go to the Uni, this next semester." She confessed that she didn't know what to do with her life. "I-I do want to be a good mom." She didn't want her mother to feel that she would have to take care of the baby when it was born.

Brian didn't want that either. After all, her mother was probably more successful all on her own now. They needed to support that.

Maybe, they would stay with Simon after all.
