How can it be that we can Say so much without words?

Bom guessed Cody brought her home to see someone important to him. She wasn't his mother but she had raised him for the most part. It was nice to be at a family gathering since it was usually just her Dad and herself. Of course, now he had a new wife and they had their new traditions.

Lori spoke of Cody's mom when she was around and how Cody loved Christmas, especially Christmas cookies.

Bom was happy to know these things. She liked knowing his history and where he came from. Of course, she couldn't say who was more broken. At least, there were people in their lives that did their best to make memories and that's what counted most.

Oh, it might have been electrifying, if Liam could dare say the word, but he and Lizzy were home alone.

After they'd had gift giving and lots to eat at Natalie's and Joon's, Liam brought Lizzy to his place. His roommate was at his relatives with Bom so they had the place to themselves.

"What should we do?" His smile might have been impish, but Lizzy kissed him anyway as if she might give him an idea or two. Of course, they made out on the couch for a good ten minutes before thinking they could move this event to his room.

Naturally, it was an awkward dance as if he might lose her somehow on the way. And then like an island, they found the bed and he landed first and she was on top of him. They laughed.

Why hadn't they thought of it before? They were in their twenties now and wasn't this what people did when they were in their twenties? So it went according and it was over at the most in twenty minutes.

"Are you hungry?" He wanted to know. Lizzy nodded. She was in his T-shirt and nothing more. He'd managed to find his flannel bottoms so he went to raid the fridge.

All he could find was Maple Cheerios. With that, it was a new tradition to always eat cereal in bed.
