"Maybe, you could be a rock star." Bom remained upbeat around Brian. She didn't know what else to do. She was trying to find a job, herself. Actually, she wanted to keep working at the Campus Coffee Shop. She liked having Natalie for a friend, but just as Cody said she could find something better.
"I don't think you want to work at the coffee shop do you?"
"I have a job," Brian reminded her he was a custodian at the University.
Bom nodded, thinking Brian needed to think bigger to win Ivy back. Although, she had never met her. She knew Joon was intending to marry the girl at one time. She supposed Joon was like a big brother to her, but she hadn't heard Joon talk about her to Natalie.
"If, I hear anything, I'll be sure to tell you," Bom told him not to give up.
"I know she wanted us to get our own place, but we needed to save up, and staying at her Mom's was the best we could do, for the moment," Brian said this from time to time.
Bom would give him a nod and try to find a drink or a snack to suffice him with. She knew she didn't know what she would do if she were in these circumstances. But she knew she would never treat Cody this way. She would want to be with through the good times and bad times.
Of course, Liam kept snubbing her at every move. Maybe he'd move out. She was beginning to think he was not the little brother she'd always wanted.
