Things were looking up for Sid, who was thinking he'd be happy to pass out a few presents at the boarding house where he lived. But this..well, this was big.
"I dunno, is it really you?" He grinned when he saw his brother Sunny. They were practically the same height and it was hard to say who was older.
Sid lived a good portion of his life in the foster system. He wouldn't talk about it now, but he'd been on his own as quick as he could be. Of course, the only thing he could think of that would make this any better was seeing his foster brother Ollie.
But he was happy to be with Sunny, with lots to eat and good laughter. After all, his brother had it pretty good being in this family. He was thankful to get the call from Xander. Although, Xander was wanting him to move in now. He couldn't think that far.
He had a job, a place to live. Did he need anything else?
But he could tell when his brother smiled, Sid could see his tears. When he hugged him, he didn't want to let him go. After all, it was great to be with family, even if he didn't know him all that well anymore.
