today's the day
Oh, it was complicated. Rosie was babysitting a lot these days and Sunny got a job at the department store. Everything was such a rush since Bo's arrival on Thanksgiving day. Not that she'd seen him since.
Yes, he was a little nostalgic about when they were together. It was as if he was making up nonsense. She got the jest he wished they could go back, but he was leaving for Japan. She wanted to tell Sunny it was nothing like he though it was with Bo. They were hardly friends. He never text. Not once had he sent her letters.
But, Sunny was always busy, either studying or working. They hadn't even had a date.
So finally, she got down to the mall. She couldn't remember which place he worked. It was in the Men's store she saw someone who looked like him.
"Hey," She tapped him on the shoulder. When he turned she thought it was Sunny, but it wasn't.
"Sorry," Rosie winced as she steadied herself to take a good look at him. "You, you make me think of my boyfriend."
"Huh." His smile was open, maybe even more friendly than Sunny. His name was Sid. She couldn't help but stare at his lean stature that was identical to Sunny's. "I have a brother, I haven't seen for awhile."
"Really?" Rosie's eyes widen. Sunny never mentioned a brother. She told him her boyfriend's name.
"Oh, yeah." Sid grinned more. "I don't know if he's the same Sunny or not. I doubt he would know me, since we haven't seen each other since elementary."
"Do you want to meet him?" Rosie said she could arrange it.
Sid shrugged, but he gave her his phone number. Rosie sighed, thinking this might be the best Christmas she could give Sunny, meeting a long lost relative.
