Rosie was happy to know Sunny hadn't lost faith in her. Sure, he was a bit overworked from the department store, but every moment felt like Christmas with him. She was glad to have him in her life.
Of course, she had her uncle's family to make the holidays sweet, with little ones and family time with cooking and treats. Still, she thought she might spend some time this season with her Dad, but it hadn't happened. He got a new job as a trucker and he was on the road. Rosie didn't let that bring her down.
It felt good to be with her boyfriend who was her best friend. They were just as concerned about each other's health as they were there education. Yet, she was happy to do nothing with Sunny.
And now he was in touch with his long-lost brother Sid. She did wonder where that would lead this new year.
There was lots to look forward too. Maybe she would even see her father by the new year.
