I will behave

It was a distant memory in the back of Liam's mind, but he wished he and Lizzy could have their own place by now. Naturally, Cody and Bom jumped in to tell him that no way would Lizzy's brother allow that.

He guessed they were right, especially after he met Aaron. Oh, it would take a lot of hard work to be on his best behavior around the police detective. Evidently, he went by the book on everything when it came to Lizzy.

There were a few moments Liam could hardly breathe. But he knew this was not the end. Only the beginning.

"I don't think he likes me," he told Cody after they'd entertained Aaron with tacos and whatever else went along with the Superbowl.

"That's what big brothers do," Cody assured him with a slap on the back. "You and Lizzy have a lot of memories to make before you go thinking about living together."

"Like what?" Liam looked at him out of the corner of his eye.

"Um, Spring break," Cody chuckled. He then listed a few things like traveling, but they should go to museums, festivals, and concerts before that. "Just keep doing what you're doing. Get to know each other."

Liam nodded. He hoped things didn't get boring. He didn't want things to get boring.

Cody winced and shook his head. "Just don't over think it, OK?"

Liam sighed, unsure he could take another night out with Lizzy's brother Aaron.
