There was a lot to be nervous about. Laliah wished she could somehow take all the pain away that her daughter was going through, but if Ivy got through this, having her baby, then it would make her stronger.
She was also worried about Janine too. She'd sensed from the beginning all was not right with Brian's little sister and her husband.
1. She was so young, and to have a baby already.
2. Jay acted so happy go lucky, but Laliah knew it wasn't so.
3. There was a lot of whisper shouting going on with those two.
4. Janine never left the house.
It was on those early coffee mornings when everyone else was asleep, except Laliah, Janine and the baby that she found out Janine's little secret.
"Then..then why are you with him?" Laliah was concerned for Janine's well being and the baby's too. But Janine was so confined, all she could do was to break down in tears.
Still, Laliah knew someone needed to be on Janine's side. Not even Janine's mother knew about her high school boyfriend Shiloh. If that wasn't enough, the only person Laliah had to turn too, to talk about Janine's predicament was Dylan.
