how long can this go on
"I dunno, I'm kind of scared of him," Diago admitted about Ste. Perhaps, that's why he didn't want to leave Ste alone with Char after all at the bakery. It wasn't that he minded working with Ste, but he didn't want Ste stressed out.
Sid looked a bit alarmed as he stood there by the espresso machines at the Campus Coffee Shop. Diago had been training him about the coffee beans and how to keep the area clean through the day.
There was some extra help from Lizzy and Liam, too. Somehow, it wouldn't be a disaster waiting to happen.
"You think you can handle it?" Diago wanted to know. Sid looked a little frightened, but he gritted a smile.
There were the drink machines to tend to as well and of course, the other iced drinks, some with coffee and some with bubble tea as well as dragon fruit.
"Usually, its pretty calm during the summer. A lot of people have gone home, but I see a few new faces too." Diago shrugged. "Cass will be back in a few days."
Sid said he was glad to have the job. He hadn't found a permanent job since the mall went under. "I signed up for some summer classes in electrical." He was hoping to learn some better skills soon.
"That's something I should learn myself," Diago told him he'd learned a lot from Cole, maybe he could get an apprenticeship that way, "But, Ste has been helpful, too."
Honestly, though, Diago felt Ste needed a true friend. It was the least he could do.
