I want to write a song

Jared felt he'd fallen to a whole new level of unhappiness. How could his brother Cole do this to him? Make a family with Leann at the snap of the finger. It just seemed unnecessary to him.

"She doesn't love you. She never will," Jared lashed out initially, but it didn't phase Cole.

"He doesn't listen to me," he told Amira now when they were at a lull at the sandwich shop.

"You aren't doing him any good, by the way, you are acting. You can't change people." was her take on all of this epic story that Jared was living, even if he wasn't really the main character and definitely not part of the supporting cast.

"Do you know what he said to me?" Jared's jaw clenched. "He said I should move in with Diago and Char." He shook his head, knowing that was impossible. "No way am I going to live with my ex-girlfriend."

He needed some help, but Amira was in her own little world evidently. Not once did she offer for him to come stay with him. Jared knew there was a time when he could make things happen, but now it wasn't like that. He didn't know what he did, but he felt he was stuck and there was no way to move on.

He knew he didn't deserve this. He knew he should figure this out, but at the moment he felt a little lost and no one seemed to notice.
