You'd better learn your lesson

Casey never told his brother that Lindsey was a guy. He knew Chance assumed Lindsey was a girl. Honestly, it was too hard to explain. Life was just better with Lindsey.

Of course, his invisible friend didn't fly on the plane with him, and Chance made it sound that if was great for Casey to get away, but then Lindsey showed up.

Casey spotted him on a crowded street. Of course, Lindsey told him he was laying low. It was best to keep it hush-hush and Casey was, but he was afraid his little brother had caught on, already

Of course, it was Lindsey's idea for them to move out.

"You know, you can't be yourself here," Linsey told him. After all, they could have conversations that lasted all night. They were best friends. "Still, I'm glad you got away from your parents." He thought they were too nosy. "It'll be fine here. You'll just do what you always do."

After all, Casey was a homebody, good at math, and people's money. He could do all of this by phone or his laptop. Casey couldn't even remember the last time he'd walked on the beach.

Yes, he'd decided to move after talking it over with Linsey. He didn't think Chance would be a problem. He could work, maybe go to University part-time. He could do his thing and Casey could stay home and be with Linsey.

"You're not going to make a big deal about Linsey, are you?" Casey asked his brother now. He watched his brother gobble down the eggs and bacon.

Chance didn't even acknowledge who they were talking about. He shrugged and he wiped the plate clean with toast and ate it.

"Guess, I'll start looking for a job." Chance was a bit sleepy-eyed.

"Do you want me to help?" Casey asked as Chance went to wash his plate and put it in the drainer.

He shook his head, no and said he didn't want to disturb the love birds.

Casey heard Linsey chuckle. His grin was open, as if he always got his way when it came to Casey.
