the days of our lives
Laliah was at her wits in with her daughter. All her life, Laliah only wanted Ivy to have the opportunity to do what she wanted, to be who she could be. Of course, having a baby at such a young age wasn't part of that goal.
She never wanted Ivy to have to feel she needed to marry someone in order to survive. Perhaps, Laliah thought she'd failed at being a mother, after all.
"How could you say that?" Dyan looked her over as if she better snap out of it. "I know you're disappointed, but there's still the baby to think about. We can take of him."
"How?" She was frantic from her morning already. She'd been so bitter she didn't even want to look at Ivy, ever again. She was thankful Brian called her to let her know he had the baby and was at his friend's place.
"We'll help that friend of his," Dylan shrugged, after all, he did own a company and the company had a daycare. "She can work here."
"Bom?" Laliah might as well have said BOMB. She knew of Joon's dealing with her, but she hadn't done a thing to bother with his relationship with Natalie. "Oh."
She didn't really want Brian to work for the company. Maybe this was for the best. Of course, she was worried about Ivy, but she didn't want too. She doubted the girl thought of her mother once.
"You should go home and get some rest," Dylan said.
Laliah shook her head, no. She hated going back to an empty house.
