the fact remains
"Seriously?" This was the last thing Jools needed to hear from the only person he felt certain as family, Valentina. "Did he hurt you?" Jools wanted to know, even if Valentina certainly looked OK and could probably beat some sense into her boyfriend Robby when Jools was sure he couldn't. Robby was shooting hoops on the driveway at the moment in the April cold.
Perhaps, Jools was the frail sort after all, or so he was thinking. Everything frightened him these days. He'd came over as soon as he got Valentina's call about her predicament with Robby. Until now, Jools always considered Robby quite the doll, but not now. And he honestly didn't know what to do.
"First of all, I need to move back in." That he could do in a heartbeat. Although, he wasn't so sure how his boyfriend Evan would feel. After all, they were quite cozy in their own little place, baking bread, sweets, pasta dishes and playing Animal Crossing on a daily basis. Neither was essential at the University at the moment.
"No, no," Val winced. After all, shelter in place meant being in your own home. "We'll figure it out. He's just moody," she shrugged that everyone was moody these days.
Jools so wanted to breakdown and tell her how he felt about the uncertainty of everything, but instead, he told her she needed a trim. He could see the split ends from here.
Val shook her head, no. He would be too close.
"I'll wear gloves and a mask," He said it would only take a second. It was the least he could do. Really, all he wanted was to get back to work. Otherwise, he would get lazy during these days of staying home.
