Alfie was pretty sure he was going to regret this. Especially, if he called Steve and told him everything.
Of course, he wasn't so sure he knew everything.
It started out pretty interesting with Melissa. It was fun going out with her and Steve and Simon. He was ready for anything with library girl Melissa. They went back to her place, had some wine, talked a bit, and then decided to makeout.
These days he was happy for anything even if he knew he should be thinking of the news and other sad things. But it was too good to be true.
The next morning when he awoke in her pink room with magenta sheets on her bed, he was alone. She left him a note next to the coffee pot that she had a class she'd forgot about. It lasted all day. She'd catch him later, maybe.
Alfie didn't know if he liked that, but he poured him a cup of coffee just as the front door open. It was Melissa's roommate, Remi who was just the opposite of Melissa. Even at ten in the morning, she was all smiles. Honestly, Alfie wasn't sure he'd ever seen Melissa smile.
Remi was chatty and made him scrambled eggs and toast. It was as if a friend of Melissa's was a friend of hers.
Then it happened again. Alfie shook his head, thinking about it now. How in the world did he sleep with her too? Well, they weren't exactly sleeping.
At the moment, he wanted to sleep it off at his place in the boarding house. But as soon as he fell asleep, he was awake again.
What if Remi and Melissa were more than just friends?
