What had happened to Steve? Simon couldn't help but be overjoyed.
"Is this my early Christmas present or something?" He smiled all over when he heard the news that Alfie was moving in which meant Steve was moving in with him. Naturally, he thought they should kiss and as reluctant as Steve was it happened. Of course, Steve pulled away automatically. He wasn't used to the closeness. Simon could only hope it would get better, but somehow it felt like he might be living with an immortal who forgot all about that sexual stuff.
The fact remained as time went on, Steve loved Alfie the most, but not in a sexual way. He wanted to make sure he had a place to call home. Honestly, it was a little devastating to Simon but he hoped somehow they'd get through this and he hoped he and Steve would actually become a couple.
At the moment all Steve worried about was getting his stuff out of the way so Alfie could call his room his own.
"You don't even have that much stuff," Simon told him. "Honest to God, you're like a minimalist of some kind. You would have thought you just got out of prison."
After all, Simon had a TV and game console. Steve looked around as if he'd mistaken Simon's space as a hotel room. He sighed as if it was all too much.
"Seriously? You didn't know?" Simon smirked.
There was a mini-fridge included and a bathroom.
"You've got all this?" Steve squinted as if he'd hit the motherlode. Especially, finding all of the shelves of Manga.
Simon only yawned. "Didn't you know? You were missing out?" He put his arm around him. Hopefully, Steve was his real boyfriend now.
Aww
ReplyDeleteChristmas in New York? Why not?
ReplyDeleteI just hope he likes him for him, and not for all of his cool swag.

One of my main goals in writing this storyline was to put a bromance up against a romance wondering at first the difference and perhaps which would be there for the long haul.
