It's about time

 Maisy was taking the plunge but with Vanna at the Viking Reinsannce? 

Of course, it might have been a better day to be at the pool than in the head of a crow while watching people as if they might be time travelers who couldn't go anywhere without their phones.

"Well, we could be milking cows, or churning butter," Vanna said she heard a weekend like that was coming up in early September after the Pirate weekends at the Berry Farm. She yawned. Of course, she didn't look that wilted in the heat. She didn't have to go around like Maisy did with her little speeches about the dark forces of evil. 

"We could be camping with the guys," Maisy decided. Harry and Koda had gone to the river to fish. They had decided they would have fish in the freezer for sure this year.

"Oh, it would be hot there, too." Yes, Vanna did look a little sleepy. 

"I don't know if you should be here," Maisy told her. They had Vanna running around. Most of the time she stayed in the vendor area which wasn't much better than being in the Viking playground area. But she did have some bit parts in some of the scenes. Yes, Maisy wished she could be so Scandinavian. Maybe that was why she envied Vanna. No, she wouldn't dare go there. It was her personality that got to her every time. But today Vanna was being so nice to her. She made sure Maisy had cold water to drink. She told her what was selling at Maisy's jewelry booth. 

"I'm fine, really," she looked at Maisy.

"This has to be the worst idea ever," Maisy said she wasn't coming back.

"But..but the boys want us to make some extra cash," Vanna looked at her as if this was important.

"I can sell more on Esty than here," she told her. Besides, there was that problem she had with her blood rushing to her feet if she stood too long. Maisy occasionally had fainting spells.

Maisy nodded. "Maybe I can show you how to make the bracelets and earrings."

"Huh," Vanna smiled. "Oh, to be home in the air conditioning."

Maisy sighed with a smile. "Let's get out of here," she didn't want to take another hour of this. A Sonic burger and a Cherry lemonade was the only thing on her mind.
