It's a strange magic

 Holy Hell, thought Dory. Was this really going to happen? He thought he might be drunk on the idea. Yes, Stanley was amazing. He'd bought the building next door to where he worked.

"You can live upstairs, and have your violin lessons downstairs," Stanley told him.

"Why are you doing this?" Dory had to ask. It was like winning the lottery.

"You deserve it," Stanley told him he was inspiring.

"Really?" Dory didn't quite believe it. "I can live here with Cedric?"

"Why not?" Stanley only smiled with a slap on the back, that it was true. This was his place now.

"I..I can't believe it," Dory was in shock. What would Cedric think? "I mean, Eli is my truest student." After all, he didn't have that many students.

"They will come, I believe in you," Stan told him.

"You do?" Dory was for loss of words. How was he ever going to get this music stuff going. He felt deliriously happy, but it would be a lot of work, and he was still at the coffee shop. "You? You are so kind," Dory told him. He sighed thinking of the pressure.

"If they know what you can do for Eli, then it'll happen." Stan was certain. He talked about soundproof rooms. He wanted there to be a recording studio, too. 

"Really?" Dory thought he might faint. Perhaps, he felt a little drunk. "You're sure?"

"Absolutely," Stan nodded with a grin. He'd always dabbled in recording and loved all sorts of music. He wanted to see this through. Stan told Dory that he had inspired him.

Dory was in shock. Could this really be happening?
