"So when is the big day?" Cedric asked as he was examining Axton's dredlocks. It was that time again, evidently. Of course, Cedric really hadn't time to tend to his own. Dory wasn't much for hair. Although, he let Cedric cut and style his hair. 

Dory might have been the one with low maintenance. He didn't shop for new clothes or eat much, either.

"Big day? Watcha talking about?" Axton festered a frown. "What about you and Dory? Shouldn't you have a big day too?"

"Oh, I dream about it from time to time, but you know, where is the time?" Cedric shrugged getting to the root of Axton's problem. "Has Chili been washing your hair again?" He grimaced as he stood behind Axton, sitting in front of  the big mirror on his old dresser in Cedric and Dory's bedroom.

Axton sighed. "Maybe it's time for a clean slate. Just shave it, man."

"Shave it!" Cedric couldn't believe his bro would say such nonsense. "But think of the time you've invested." He'd hate to see the dreads go.

"It's a good time to do it," Axton looked at him in the mirror. "I'm going to marry Chili and..and we'll have a baby whenever." He was even-lipped as he glared at Cedric. 

"Seriously?" Cedric was still thinking about the hair, but now Axton was thinking about multiplying his family, too.

Cedric shook his head. "I guess I'll have to see it when I believe it."

"Well, you'll be my best man, dude."

Cedric cracked up more.

"She's got her mind set on the coffee shop."

Axton was dead serious. Cedric couldn't help but smile as he fooled with a misplaced strand of Axton's hair.

"Now, shave it. Just shave it," Axton was in no mood to put this off any longer.
