no wishing tonight

no wishing tonight

Ollie found himself smiling, wishing Candy would talk about herself more, and not about all those friends she knew back at the Uni.

Yeah, she'd have to be a college girl. Maybe, older women got him. He laughed at the thought. But it soon went away, at the threat she was still stuck, on this Dory guy. What made him so hot?

He turned to his side, in bed, and imagined she'd hooked up with him, after all. He hadn't heard from her and didn't want her to think he was desperate, but maybe he could text..something..

He pondered a bit with his phone in his hand. What could he text?

Of course, a text appeared like magic, but it wasn't from Candy.

It was from Gabby.

Ollie winced with a sour smile. What could she possibly want at this hour? It was going on midnight.

He got up and looked out the window. It was icy out. He could break a leg out there.

"Come out and play." He looked back at the text. "I miss hanging out with you."

He rolled his eyes. He didn't really believe her, but like an obedient dog, he got back in his jeans and pulled on a thermal shirt along with his hoodie and snowboots and headed out, ever so quietly in his silent house.

There she was at the merry-go-around at the neighborhood park.

"What are you doing?" His lips already felt chapped from the wind. He didn't want to be out in the cold with her.

She didn't say much, but played around with a hug, warming herself up. Her teeth shown. He hadn't realized until now... how big her teeth really were, even under the street light. She hung on to him good, as if they would stay warm, hugging each other.

"Seriously?" He gritted looking down at her heart-shaped face.

"I have this thing..I..I want you.. to do for me." She laughed, her fingers locked around his belt loop.

"Like what?" He tilted his head, wondering where this was going. She couldn't possibly want anything from him.

"I want you... to be there..for Ivy..when Will tells her no." Her smile was so innocent, yet ever so vixen.

Ollie sighed. "No? To what?"

Evidently, she would show him, as her hands pried down into his jeans, and beyond his flannel boxers.

Ollie's eyes sprang open. An alarm rang silently in his brain.. that something nasty was about to happen. Oddly, he felt to be the nasty one. He didn't want anyone knowing..

He pulled away and pushed her off of him.

"Jesus Christ!"

"What?" She made a face that he was the strange one.

He could hardly hear himself think. He felt himself shaking, maybe it was the cold. But he didn't feel clean.  Even so, where had her mouth been? He shook his head, no.

"But, I'm really good at this kind of stuff." She informed him, in all of her sincerity.

"I bet you are." He zipped his pants up, trying not to look her in the face. "I'm a little different..than..than most guys."

"Like what?" She winced, with such interest. "You, have girl parts?"

"No." His frown was a small o. He sucked in a breath. "I'm not c i r c u m c i s e d.  Even if I were, doesn't mean I'd let you."

"I want to see it." She was curious.

"Nope." He swelled a frown. He wasn't here to be a freak show. "I didn't want Ivy..to..to.. just violate her, you know. I wanted to be with her... because..because I love her. I..I would be the best boyfriend..she ever had." It hurt inside to think about it.

"Just leave me alone." He turned away to make his exit.

Any other day he would have walked her back home, he shuddered in the cold, thinking he would just walk away, but then he got to thinking, what if something happened to her. What if she found anyone..to..to do this with?

He brushed his tears away.

"Come on." He grabbed the sleeve of her puffy coat. "I wish you'd stop thinking, stuff like this would fix everything.  You, could get yourself killed, you know. You're smarter than, this Gabby."

Now he had her crying, but she hugged him on the walk back, as if maybe she were a whipped puppy, after all.
